Abstract:  The suprafamily P e n t a t o m o i d e a (I n s e c t a, H e t e r o p t e r a) in „Cheile Runcului” Nature Reserve (Alba county, Romania). „Cheile Runcului” Nature Reserve are located in the Apuseni Mountains. The biological material was collected starting with May, until September 2003 from five ecosistems: shrubbery, hay field, grassland, coppice and roadside vegetation. We revealed a number of 279 Pentatomoidea, belonging to 27 species, 20 genera and 5 family. The majority of the species (19) and individuals (198) belong to the family Pentatomidae. Most of the species (24) live in the hay field and less of the species (5) live in the coppice. The highest values of the numerical and relative abundance were shown by Dolycoris baccarum, Carpocoris purpureipennis and Eurydema oleraceum. The highest number of adults was recorded in August. A proportion of 66.67% of the species are polyphagous. From all of the species 37% belong to the Palearctic Region.
