	Abstract: Topical dermocorticosteroids have been used in treatment of skin diseases as well as in cosmetic products. Unfortunately, along with their undisputable efficacy, their use has been associated with unwanted secondary effects on some endocrine glands (thymus, adrenals, adenohypophysis). In this paper we present the ultrastructural modifications induced by topical glucocorticoid treatment in the somatotrope, gonadotrope and corticotrope cells.
