BIOETHICS PERSPECTIVE ON HOLINESS AND / OR QUALITY OF LIFE . Authors: MIRCEA GELU BUTA. |

Abstract: In the recent years a new tendency has appeared that of opposing the notion of quality of life to that of saintity of life, placing them of firs sight in a tention without solution. From the perspective of the human person’s saintity there no conflict between the saintity of life and its quality. The two notions become complementary from the first to the last moments of the human existence. This complementarity between the quality and saintity of life is possible because human life is sacred in its own nature. The origin, the purpose and the finality are given and determined by God. Moreover we can consider that the concept of quality of life well understood shows the way that leads from the earthly life to God’s Kingdom. Keys words: the saintity of life, quality of life, complementary. |
