Authors:  IOAN CHIRILĂ.

Abstract:   In a time in which trenshumanism reduces the man to a simple improvable mechanism, the author prposes a bunch from Olivier Clément’s flowers of theological discourse about “man” in the light of theological orthodox tradition and reflection. Clément’s interrogations regarding the men reason of being, his rights get an answer in his defining which is impossible to be possessed because man remains an enigma in which love passes beyond the wish, beauty is above the utility and death is unnatural. The thematic context has in the center Clément’s pleading for a vision on Orthodoxy as a background life’s eternity, (of a full life) of a entire life which crosses and defeats death. In this sense the author affirms, in accordance with the contemporary theologies that Olivier Clément’s writing is in essence, is a paschal theology, a hymn of Christ’s Resurrection.

Key words: person, nature, death and resurrection / Resurrection.
