  Rezumat:  The prayer is a generally accepted religious practice, but for the most of the people it contains only a few activities, like petition, intercession or thanksgiving. In this study, we want to increase the personal, private prayer’s activities, so we suggest 9 actions, which can form it, and some of them has multiple manifestation.
The following activities can form part or the entire personal prayer: silence, glorification and gratitude, conversation, confession, supplication, Bible-prayer, meditation, intercession and dedication. The silence has a few manifestation: connection to God in the beginning of the prayer, solitude, introversion, attention or orientation to God and simply whatever gesture can be a silent prayer. The glorification or praise concentrates on the person of God Himself, and the gratitude or thanksgiving on the things He has done for us. The praise could be do from prayer-book or Bible, can be freely expressed or through singing. The next prayer activity is conversation. It is a simply talking with God, like a friend. Generally known what is confession and supplication, so we needn’t explain them. The Bible-prayer is to pray through or with Bible: praising God, asking Him what He promised in the Bible, praying based on biblical thoughts, or simply read the Bible, like God’s word personally to the prayer person. After that the prayer can be “Meditatio Scripturarum”, simply meditation on biblical thoughts, events or persons. The last prayer activities are intercession, which is supplication for others and the well known dedication to God.
Finally, we affirm that the personal prayer contains more activities that there are in our usage and knowledge. But besides these the practice of different forms and activities of personal prayer depend on the particularities of every individual. It makes possible for every person to choose and use them according to their personal particularities.
