  Rezumat:

John Amos Comenius, originally known as Jan Komensky, was the herald of striving for peace and patience throughout his entire life. Among the most influential ones, we can mention Via Lucis, Janua Linguarium Reserata, Orbis Pictus and his well-known Didactica Magna, considered to be the cornerstone of modern education. As an educator, he is responsible for the modernization of school systems from his native country, England, Sweden and Hungary. The University of Prague bears his name as a sign of appreciation and reverence for his lifelong strive for world peace and harmony, Christian love and understanding. He worked in Sarospatak between 1650 and 1654. ...
