  Rezumat:  Between March 1945 and December 1947 most legislation concerning confessional schooling were issued by the government, and not by the Parliament, being in contradiction with the 1929 law for Romanian confessional school. Thus they were illegal and they were contradictory to the Concordate between Romania and the Saint Siege. This ministry documents were meant only to limit the number of religion hours taught in public or confessional schools as they fear protests from the church hierarchy. In 1948, the communist government changed the legislation, adopted a new constitution and a new education law. The greek-catholic schools were abolished by this education law and the real estate of churches was confiscated.
