  Rezumat:  The hypothesis whether a special kind of religiosity, the awareness of God’s presence in different aspects of one’s life mediates the negative effects of insecure attachment on the psychological well-being (defined with the terms of the analytic existential school as the lack of anxiety, the balance between positive and negative affects, self-identity and the sense of meaning) was tested. As a result it seems that a special kind of religiosity, the awareness of God, in contrast with the emotional based religiosity, has a benefic effect on the existential well-being (sense of meaning), that is, this kind of religiosity can help people with problems in other psychological areas to integrate these disorders and live an existentially fulfilled life. Further, it was shown that the religiosity of people who are highly anxious in relationships is emotion-based, they relate to God as an absolute attachment-figure, secure base and the source of consolation.
