  Rezumat:  The study deals with the main documents of the Catholic-Lutheran, Catholic-Reformed, as well as WCC dialogue regarding thetheology of the Eucharist, and focuses on the question of the sacrificialcharacter. It concludes that as a result of theological research and dialoguethere is a high degree of consensus regarding the uniqueness of Christ`s sacrifice as well as the anamnetic character of eucharistic celebration,which makes Christ`s sacrifice present and actual. Agreement existsconcerning Eucharist as a sacrifice of thanksgiving and praise, and even if Protestant theology does not speak of a propitiatory sacrifice, the conceptof anamnesis made clear in which sense Catholic theology understands thistopic, and that this understanding does not deny the uniqueness of Christ`s sacrifice. This mutual agreement raises the question of the (lack of)reception within the main theological traditions.
