  Rezumat:  Gender role attitudes among students. In the following study I draw a picture about the gender role attitudes among Romanian students. The main aim is to compare the attitudes of the students in my own research, with the findings of a national survey, and with some data available at the level of the European Union. Romania being a candidate to join the European Union, the analysis is focusing on the similarities and differences of attitudes in a particular segment of the population: the young adults – a generation which, in the future, can influence gender relations.
