	Rezumat: The aim of this research is to investigate shared knowledge in a community by using Q-methodology. We are interested in students’ perception of the communication between them and the administrative staff of a faculty. The paper presents initially the theoretical background of Q-method, its core concepts and procedures of data collection and analysis, summarizing in the end the advantages and limits of this method. The detailed description of the application is aimed at being an illustration both of the procedure of this methodology, of how it works and of its utility in the investigation of shared knowledge in a community.
