Rezumat: Conceived as a “late response” and, also, as a “very personal” one, to all those “blind and narcissistic” interpretations of Eminescu’s work, this time, Ioana Bot enchants her readers with a far more familiar understanding than she used to and also with a very professional approach. The introduction is a contextual essay, explaining its intention as an open letter to a “hypocrite brother”, seen in a Baudelairean way as a twin image mirrored in the writing process and its becoming as a tremendous construct of another identity. This ingenious critical approach- between mirrors- is also a two-fold approach: in one way, the fear of being discovered and, in another way, the exciting need for this, inviting the reader to trace the “word traps”, guided by the accomplished experience of a well known expert in Eminescu’s works interpretations. Along with this “semblable” brother-companion, she is prepared, thus, to explore the insight of these great texts, in search of discovering herself, but also himself, the unknown brother-reader. | |||||||
