	Rezumat: The source of expressiveness in the exclamation of degree. The goal of our study has been to analyze the source of expressiveness regarding three types of the exclamation of degree. Our study is based on the premise that the exclamatory utterances have a co-built characteristic that can be explained by the extremely important role the interlocutor has in their interpretation. The exclamatory utterances are essentially elliptical, and thus the addressee is compelled to take part subjectively in the interpretation in order to fill in the “blanks” left by the speaker.
