Services are becoming increasingly important in the economic life. Among them, the logistics services contribute to the successful implementation of the processes in many areas. This paper examined the main attributes, such as size, profile, ownership structure of service providers and the nature of their services. The paper found a wide variety of providers in all examined aspects: size, location, extent of activity. There were differences in the composition of the offers by the size and the ownership of the companies. The focus of providers showed a mixed picture. There were diverse and focused offers from small and large companies. In spite of the business challenge, the companies did not plan to change the company profile. The selection of their offers will not be changed in the future. The paper also examined the lead time of transport services.
