	Rezumat: The paper below describes two methods for inflation reduction in modern economies: the “orthodox” way - through which government tries to persuade the market that it is ready to cut the demand at any cost; and the market expectations on inflation evolution. Each method is analyzed and presented with its weaknesses and strengths. In conclusion, the authors try to answer to the next question: “Which method is the best?”
