  Rezumat:  The Nise Treaty, drawn up in December 2000, signed on the 26th of February, 2001, is the latest modification of the initial community law meant to prepare the UE and the EC for new member state joining. This study tries to draw attention to the recent items concerning community institutions, intensified co-operation procedures, human right observance, and also to the preparations in order to receive new member states. In the same time, it tries to show the perspectives after Nise, insisting on the „future of Europe“ theme.
