The Impact on Tourism of Transport Infrastructure Development in Transylvania. The relationship between transport and tourism is exemplified by the term travel, and generally for making the decision to travel we take into account especially the main steps, those tied to the destination, how and where the route is. The attractiveness of a tourist area is also given by its degree of accessibility; a higher index involves an increase on both attractiveness and tourist options. The development projects of transport infrastructure will impact on tourism based on their location to the main objectives. Our analysis in terms of accessibility of tourist attractiveness has shown that some areas will be favored and will open new opportunities for tourism development in Transylvania.
