  Rezumat:  The Ştiucii Lake (Bonţ Valley) – The Transylvanian Plain. The first part of the study includes general aspects of the lake emplacement, hydrographic basinal morfometry and hydrical regime of the lake affluents. The second part represents a detailed analysis of the basin evolution by the preexisting data comparison (1957) with those obtained by precise mensurations performed in the year of 2000. In this respect the bathymetric maps of the lake are emphasised as well as the transverses and the longitudinal side elevations and data concerning its morphometrical factors. Finaly, beside other conclusions, there are evaluations made concerning lake clogging, attempting a prognosis concerning this phenomenon in the near future. The study also contains lake arrangements suggestions which when materialised, will lead to its continuous existence without major changes in the evolution of the bios.
