Rezumat:  Tinca Village - Geomorphological Aspects with Implications in Land Management. The territory of Tinca village, situated at the contact between the Western Hills with the Western Piedmontan Plain, is superposed on Pleistocene, Holocene and Pannonian formations, which, from geotechnical point of view, are proper for constructions. The built-up area of the village, situated mainly on the 2nd and 3rd terraces of Crisul Negru river, has the tendency to extend southward in the floodplain of the river although this implies disadvantages concerning risks of flood for settlements, high level of ground water. This tendency also has advantages due to the location close to the central zone and the closeness of main circulation routes. The relief, which is not suitable for constructions, limits the extension of built-up area northward by railway, by the flood plain and by the Crisul Negru river itself. From our analyses one could state that the most suitable direction of extension is on the 2nd and 3rd terraces of Crisul Negru river. Tinca village has a sufficient geomorphologic potential both for immediate needs as well for perspectives.
