  Rezumat:  Hydric characteristics of Huedin Depression. The research study first highlights location aspects and several geographic features of the depression, and then focuses on a detailed morphometric survey of the hydrographic network. Based on the last hydrologic data collected during 1985-2000, the present research carries out an in-depth study of the major hydric features, logically sequenced, including: characteristics of river passage, flow, average annual passage and regime. In view of a more relevant presentation of the major aspects under survey, the research encompasses synthetic tables and a consistent cartographic material, which facilitates a quick understanding of the specific hydric issues.
