  Rezumat:  The aim of this paper is to present and analyse the economic disparities of the two Europes, Eastern and Western Europe, in the beginning of the 20th century. Therefore, we shall talk about industrial and agrarian countries. Romania is a case point in the present paper, due to its particularities.
