	Rezumat: This article tries to take a look to the future of the European Union at a moment when the member States are blocked in negotiations over the Treaty establishing a Constitution fo Europe. It focuses on the pocess of constitutionalization of the Union and on the major problems encountered in this process, and it examines the various possible options for the future Constitution. It also tries to see if the Convention on the future of the European Union has achieved its goals in giving solutions to these major problems.
