  Rezumat:  Currently, through its implications, the infringement of the intellectual property rights is one of the greatest issues regarding the photography industry. This also applies to press photography, and when taking into discussion this aspect, Romania makes no exception. However, not many are those who realize the legal implications and the result of the unauthorized usage of photography. Therefore, this study is meant to raise awareness regarding this particular problem of the infringement of the intellectual property rights in the Romanian press photography.
