  Rezumat:  Tendencies in the Training of Professional Players. In the preparation of the players it is started from the premises that the athlete is trainable, that it is possible to increase his performance capacity. The sport games where the players replacing is forbidden or very limited impose, even more, the use of some scientific criteria for team elaboration, especially if the coach has at his disposal a numerous lot of players (which is the case of representative teams). Like in other areas of sports activity, the data given by the scientifically researches explain the validity of some consecrated criteria in coaches practice, to complete them with other valuable practices and in the same time to correct at least a part of the committed errors. In the collective sport games frequently appear exceptional players, whose efficiency in the game overcomes the average of the other player’s efficiency, considered as being very good. They become national and international celebrities. These players, which are remarkable in the game are characterized, besides efficiency, by creativity, a large technical and tactical virtuosity which comes near the borders of art, thus bringing valuable personal contributions to the technical and tactical development of the game.
