  Rezumat:  Co-crystallization of 2,5-dimercapto-1,3,4-thiadiazole (DMTD) and (3H-2-thioxo-1,3,4-thiadiazol-2-yl)thioacetic acid (H2L) with ortho-functionalized pyridines in 1:1 molar ratio produced three molecular complexes: DMTD•2,2’-bipy (1), H2L•2,2’-bipy (2) and H2L•2-H2NPy (3), respectively. The structure of compounds 1–3 was characterized in solid state by microanalysis and FT-IR, FT-Raman and electronic spectroscopy. The spectral data suggest the formation of proton transfer molecular complexes (1) or association products (2, 3). Acid-base C=O•••HN and C=O•••HO intermolecular interactions are enphasized for compounds 2 and 3.
