In a connected graph G, the sum of distances between all its vertex pairs is known as the Wiener index. The edge-Wiener index is conceived in an analogous manner as the sum of distances between all pairs of edges of the connected graph. In this paper, we compute the edge-Wiener index of the rooted product of graphs and some types of dendrimers.
