  Rezumat:   The paper presents a software application developed for fast determination of glaze or glass properties with a known composition, optimization of glaze composition using the pre-definite properties and calculation of necessary of raw materials using the composition of glaze and available raw materials. The software application was developed using Matlab software package. A friendly and easy to use interface of the software application was built using GUIDE (Graphical User Interface Development Environment) components of Matlab.
